Terms of Service & Payment

These terms govern your use of BookTruck.online and the freight services we arrange through our network of verified transport partners.

Last updated: June 2026

1. Service overview

BookTruck.online Logistics (“BookTruck.online”, “we”, “our”) operates an aggregator platform that connects shippers (factories, warehouses, importers, exporters, MSMEs) with verified road transporters and fleet operators across South India and pan-India lanes. All transport services are executed by independent licensed road transporters.

2. Booking & quotes

Quotes returned by the platform are indicative price ranges based on the lane, truck type, load characteristics and current market conditions. The final freight rate is confirmed in writing (email/WhatsApp) before vehicle placement.

3. Payment terms

  • Spot bookings: 100% advance before vehicle placement, OR 50% advance and 50% on delivery (POD).
  • Corporate / monthly accounts: credit terms of 15–30 days from invoice date, subject to approval.
  • All rates are exclusive of GST. GST is charged at the applicable rate (5% under RCM or 12% with full ITC, depending on customer election).
  • Late payments attract interest at 18% per annum from the due date.

4. Accepted modes of payment

  • NEFT / RTGS / IMPS bank transfer (preferred)
  • UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
  • Corporate cheques (subject to clearance)
  • Cash on Delivery (CoD) — only for verified corporate accounts up to ₹50,000 per consignment

5. GST & e-way bill

We issue GST-compliant tax invoices and consignment notes under the Carriage by Road Act 2007 and CGST/SGST/IGST rules. E-way bills above the statutory threshold (currently ₹50,000) are generated by the consignor; we assist on request.

6. Liability

Liability of the transporter is governed by the Carriage by Road Act 2007 and the Carriage by Road Rules 2011. Maximum liability is limited to ₹10 per kg of the consigned goods unless higher value is declared in advance and additional risk cover is purchased.

7. Insurance

Goods-in-transit insurance is the responsibility of the consignor unless expressly purchased through BookTruck.online. We can facilitate transit insurance on request.

8. Disputes

Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Tada, Andhra Pradesh, India.
